About

We build one system per business. Then we keep it running.

EP Systems is a small shop in Alberta building custom lead and operations systems for local businesses — dealerships, home services, trades. Not another app subscription: one system that fits how you already work.

How we build

Four opinions that show up in every build.

These aren't values on a wall — each one is a rule enforced in the code, and each one costs us something. They're here so you know what you're buying.

Software should fit the business, not the other way round

Every off-the-shelf CRM asks you to change how you work so its screens make sense. We read how your leads actually arrive, then build around that. If your jobs are quoted on a napkin in a truck, the system handles napkins in trucks.

An automation you can't switch off is a liability

Everything we build starts disarmed. Draft mode, quiet hours, permanent opt-outs, one kill switch over the lot. You arm each piece when you trust it, and never before.

A missing number is not a zero

Most dashboards fill a gap with $0 and let you draw the wrong conclusion. Ours prints a dash and tells you what's missing. It's less flattering and far more useful.

The AI writes the sentence, the code does the arithmetic

Prices, costs, margins and totals are computed by plain functions over your records. The model only ever explains a number it was handed — so it can't invent a customer, a statistic, or a quote.

The work

18 working parts. You buy the ones you need.

The platform covers the whole path a customer takes — from the enquiry nobody answered to the finished job nobody costed. Most clients start with one or two pieces and add the rest as each pays for itself.

We work with a small number of businesses at a time, because a system that fits properly takes reading your business first. If we don't think we can move the number that matters to you, we'll tell you on the first call rather than sell you a build.

Tell us what's broken.

Twenty minutes, no pitch deck. Bring the thing that's costing you money and we'll tell you honestly whether a system fixes it.
